Making Beaded Rings

Hi everyone! Recently, I’ve been making bead bracelets, and I wanted to share my recent creations.

I received this beaded ring kit for Christmas and have really been enjoying the methodical process of threading the beads. Listening to a podcast (really enjoying Home Cooking right now) or Spotify, while making these cute and pretty rings is a fun way to do something creative away from the computer. I’ve tried a couple different styles now and I like how they look.

Here’s the three of them:

This is a flower-like pattern:

I like how the green looks like leaves. Blue flowers aren’t that common, I guess, but the green and blue look very calming and sea-like.

A striped-pattern:

The dark blue contrasts really well with the pink.

A snake-like pattern:

I like the cotton-candy color combination of this one.

Now I have some accessories to add to my collection! Even though these beaded rings could be bought easily, the process of stringing the beads onto the wire and looping the wire through the beads was meditative. I hope to make more in the future and play with the color combinations! (Maybe make a pastel coral one for Red Velvet?)

Toodles,

Lainie
